The AGM is an opportunity to raise questions about how the club is run; make suggestions for improvements and to stand for election to the Committee. Many committee members have served for a long time and we feel new ideas and enthusiasm will keep the club moving forward. You don't have to have been a member for years, or know a great deal about birds, the key thing is to give up a little bit of time to help keep the club successful. The committee meets monthly in one of our houses and we usually have a pleasant evening discussing club and other birding matters. So come on, put yourself forward and let a committee member know you are interested!
